You pay retail for inflow, outflow earns roughly the power-supply component, well below retail, so size to self-consumption. Systems cap at 550 kW or 110% of annual usage. documented
A 2024 improvement DTE doesn't match: since Feb 2024 credits apply to all electric charges, not just the power-supply portion of the bill. documented
Buying a home with a system: program tenure and credits transfer, but only after a New Move In Form plus $25 fee, mailed in, with a fresh agreement drafted within 10 business days. Credits start from when you establish service, not retroactively. documented
